Plan your trip day by day
A practical travel day connects the places you want to see with the time you actually have. Add a route to your trip, arrange its stops and keep the daily plan alongside your bookings and expenses.
Choose where the day starts and ends
For a base trip, return to the same accommodation. A circular route finishes where it began; a point-to-point route ends somewhere new. Decide these anchors before filling your day. For a trek, allow breaks and plan around your walking pace.
Build a day you can follow
Add a route activity to your trip, then define its days and stops.
- Choose places and arrange them in visiting order.
- Set the time you want to spend at each stop.
- Add your overnight accommodation when relevant.
- Write a daily program, or paste an existing plan and edit it.
- Review the map, distances and estimated times before saving.
Check the timing and leave some room
The summary brings together distance, travel time, time at stops and weather information when available. Calculated driving times are not trekking times, and the route duration excludes overnight stays. Leave room for changes and adjust your stops during the trip.
